Artist statement
I am a queer Thai-British artist based in Perthshire, Scotland. I explore disrupting narratives, reclaiming histories and building alternative futures using visual art, poetry, film and sound. Passionate about climate justice and social justice, my ethos revolves around amplifying the voices of those who are often not listened to. I am the founder of Decolonising The Outdoors, an interdisciplinary project which dismantles narratives of dominating land and extracting nature. It aims to educate Scottish and British society through the media and the arts, and to empower communities through events which focus on rebuilding relationships with our natural environment.
Collaborative perspectives and compassionate storytelling are core elements across my practices.
